Jenelle White (Quality Landscape Supervisor) provided the following information to the HTC Board on July 29...

The chemically burnt lawns are starting to show some improvement and a lot of the areas are starting to regenerate. Unfortunately due to the wet weather, crab grass is creeping into some of these areas. We will be attempting to apply a crabgrass formula to these areas when the weather cools and it is less humid. Grass areas that do not regenerate by the fall will be raked and re-seeded.

The summer pruning of mulched areas around condos has been interrupted due to high temperatures and persistent rains. We will have a Quality crew onsite at HTC starting the 1st week of August. We have started work in the middle of West Harbour Towne Circle and are working our way to the outer edges of the complex.

Once again on behalf of all Quality employees we apologize for the equipment failure that resulted in the burnt lawns at Harbour Towne Condos. We are doing everything within our power to rectify this situation! Thank you for your patience!

Look for the next update from Quality Landscaping (Our Landscaping Service Provider) on August 1st. For a description of the original burnt lawn problem, please see this article released June 30th.
